Extra Activities |

| The School offer a wide range of activities and socially useful productive work. Participation in one of these activities is compulsary for each student . Eco club and science club are existing in the Vidyalaya. Students paticipate in debates,elocution, skits.recitations and various competition within the organisation as well as in competition with other schools. Student have brought laural to teh Vidyalaya off and on in this regard. |
| Vocational skill Development Center: |

Keeping in view teh changing times and the need of the hour,the Vidyalaya has started a few vocational skill development courses such as candle-making, picture framing,chalk-making,book-binding,clay work and painting to make the children self-sufficient and self-relaint. The Vidyalaya has also made a provision to train the students in Kathak and Bharat Natyam. |

Adventure Activities: |
| Trekking, Moutaieering and rock climbing are regular activities of our boys and girls. Group of students and teachers paticipate in the trekking programme. Scout and Guide activities are a regular feature in the vidyalaya and learners participate in these activities in full enthusiasm |
| SOME SPECIALS FEATURES: |
| National Service Scheme: |
| The National Services Scheme has been introduced in the school to acqyaint pupil with the community outsde. The students actively participate in the awareness programme i.e. literacy, pulse polio campaign and sanitation promotion. They have contributed immensely in enhancing the outlook of the Vidyalaya by maintaining beautiful garden at the entrance and within the Vidyalaya premises. |
| Excursion: |
| The Vidyalaya gives ample opportunity to the students for excursion . This year the student of class XI and XII had an excursion to fun and food and some historical places of Delhi . Class VI ,VII and VIII students had a trip to National Science Center ,which will go a long way in widening their mantal horizon. |
| Silviculture: |
| Love for gardening and planting is developed among the students and we are proud of our green and clean campus. |
| Subject Committe Meeting: |
| Study circle meetings are conducted every month on last working day for meeting out the challenge of teaching and finding out their solution. Thus , such as project work, written work , split up syllabus methodology use of teaching aids, number and volume of exercise book used, introducing of value education in lessons, and step for slow learners and discussed . |
| School Based In-Service Courses: |
| Conducting of school based in Service Courses is the regular feature of academic activities. In these courses the attention is focused on the problem of students and concret measures are devised to improve their academic performance leading to academic excellence . |
| Language Lab: |
| Vidyalaya has a well established langauage lab for secondary section with audio aids to develop the expressing and writing skill in students. |
| Computer Education : |
| A pilot project on computer literacy has been started with a view to create Computer awareness. Vidyalaya has two fully furnished computer lab with 20 computers. |
| Nurture the nature: |
| Various science activities to creat environment awarnes in community and vidyalaya are going on from the month of January. |
